Terrigal United Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Ash Grant. A life member of Mountain District Football Club, Ash came to the club tasked with restoring our Division 1 team back into Premier League. He achieved this and we remain there thanks to his continued guidance before taking on a new challenge this year at Central Coast United
But Ash was much more than just ‘the gaffer’ leading our finest players. He spent countless hours connecting the Mens Team with our Juniors having young players come in to present players their jerseys before home games and act as mascots.
In 2015, Ash led the inaugural Terrigal Academy, a program which developed many fine young footballers, some of which have gone on to representative football and many of which are still playing with passion for TUFC, thanks to the infectious enthusiasm that he had for the Beautiful game.
Tonight and in the coming weeks, the entire Central Coast Football community unites as one to support Ash’s family. Jac, Tal, Nathaniel and extended family. We are here for you.
Rest in Peace Ash. TUFC will forever be a better place for having you in it.
