Dear Clubs,
The NSW Government has today announced that the stay-at-home orders have been put in place across all of Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong, from 6pm today (Saturday, 26 June 2021) until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021.
Significantly, the NSW Government has made it very clear that community sport will not be permitted during this period.
Therefore, all football activities within Central Coast are suspended immediately until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021.
What does this mean for Football in those areas?
- Effective immediately, all games, training and other football activities must cease;
- All Football competitions and leagues will be suspended until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021;
- Any football activity which takes place during this period is not sanctioned by Central Coast Football and, therefore, the Personal Accident insurance cover that is provided as part of a player’s registration may not apply.
As far as the structure of the competitions going forward is concerned we will have discussions next week and advise accordingly.
Please stay safe.
For players wanting to keep fit and sharp over the break, we remind our members of the video made during last lockdown
