Round 7 Terrigal v Southern Ettalong

2-1 Loss

Round 7 for the Olasses took them out to Woy Woy to play the Lions. First half of the game started very slow, once pace started to pick up the girls started to put some balls past the back line for Jayne, Lizzie and Jaime but sadly we just couldn’t find the back of the net. Emma, Georgah and Tiegan in the middle were solid with some great passes through. Sadly Southern got a ball through our back line and got the first goal of the game.

Second half came with some changes, Emily, Arabella, Kaylee and Tallen from the W16As came back on to the field which created pace up front. Arabella had a few breakaways with her speed but the keeper had her goal covered.

Southern then broke away again with a long ball over the top to score their second goal, the Olasses didn’t give up without a fight with some fancy footwork from Georgah as she got her self past the back line to score a great goal

Overall disappointed finish for the the Terrigal Girls going down 2-1 but they went hard until the final whistle.
