TUFC First Grade vs Mayfield March 2019

The girls started the game slowly and found their passing game hard to implement as the opposition applied good pressure on the ball right across the field. However, we hit our straps and shifted the ball neatly from back-to-front. Mayfield scored a floated goal to take the lead and doubled it with another long range floated free kick. We responded well and Jessie Andrews scored a peach from 25 yards! Mayfield lofted a third against the run of play, but we struck back with a pile driver from 20 yards and leveled the game with the goal of the match. Neat interplay released Emma Power down the right, her pin-point cross was met by Indi, who swiveled on the ball and smashed home the equalizer. 3-3 the final score.

TUFC Reserve Grade vs Mayfield March 2019

A little rusty for 15mins & a bit of a chess game played with positions but confidence built which showed with some strong plays linking well through the backs from Phoebe through the midfield and with our confident strike force, we saw three great goals netted by Kate, Chloe and Alice. Great to see Adele and Holly gaining confidence but Player of the match goes to Maddie Tyson for her endurance, agility and strength in the outside midfield position. 3-0 the final score
