Weekday Ground Status Information
Council update their website with ground closures after 2pm on weekdays.
We will endeavour to update Coaches and Managers through WhatsApp as soon as we are away of any closures.
IF A FIELD IS CLOSED ON THE COUNCIL WEBSITE, PLEASE DO NOT TRAIN ON IT.
If Council become aware that we have used it when closed, they can sanction the club. Penalties can include suspending our usage of the field or taking the field away from us all together. As we already struggle to put all of our teams into training space, please think of the club and the possible ramifications.
Weekend / Matchday Ground Status Information
If a Club closes its field for play on the weekend the field status will be updated on the CCF App as they make the decision. The council website is not to be checked or used as a guide on Saturday or Sunday.
Clubs inspect their fields by 6:00am on a Saturday and/or Sunday, at which point they will update the field status to CCF who will publish closed grounds via the app.
If it’s been raining late in the week, check the CCF App before heading off to the game.
