TERRIGAL UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB

Support the Sponsors that Support Your Club

Non Comp Ages (U9-U11)

Terrigal United Football Club is focused on supporting the development of those players within the Skills Acquisition Phase (SAP) through our program in 2024.

The program will focus on developing the 4 core skills (1st touch, Running with the ball, Striking the ball and 1v1) set out in the Skills Acquisition Phase of the FFA National Curriculum.

The key objectives of the program will be to:

⚽Provide a local, cost-effective alternative to bridging the gap between community football and representative level football
⚽ Raise the overall standards of our coaching and teams competing in the SAP age groups
⚽Provide players a developmental pathway from club to the local representative framework.
⚽Provide ambitious players with additional coaching and developmental opportunities in order to reach their personal goals.
⚽Provide players with an alternative advanced pathway in lieu of travelling to Newcastle/Sydney

The key components of the program include:

⚽ Support to coaches through accessing training courses, development of training skills/drills & access to B & C licensed coaching staff within the club
⚽ Minimum 2 nights a week training
⚽ Opportunities to play in key tournaments in Newcastle, Central Coast & Sydney

Friend Requests & Pre Formed Teams

In 2024 we are again offering the option for friends to play together or a full team to continue playing together.

If you are submitting a full team, please ensure a coach. manager and all parents have registered their children before submitting. The team is still required to attend session 2 of grading.

If you simply want your child to play in the same team as 1,2,3…. friends, that’s great! They will also need to attend grading sessions so we can make sure they are of similar playing ability.
